Double Glazed Folding Partition with High Sound Reduction
The FV2 Glass folding partition is custom-made individually for each project and according to the customer’s requirements with regards to dimensions and sizes of elements. Single or double leaves joined in the middle can be used.
Construction
The actual folding partition is constructed around a unique mix of aluminium profiles and laminated glass/sound rated glass. Components that combine to give no less than Rw 47 dB sound reduction with maximum glass area.
Aluminium profiles around the partition elements are in standard natural anodized aluminium, but are available in other colours by request. The folding partition runs on the floor, transferring the weight to the floor construction.
Joint profiles
The adjustable joint profiles in the sides ensure ease of installation and compensate for any misalignment. Joint profiles on the top and sides are supplied as standard in white, but are also available in other colours by request.
Closing, lock and handle
Regardless of whether the partition is single or double leaved, the last element acts as an opening door, and is fitted as standard with a ball lock and stainless steel handle. The integrated cremone bolt makes locking and opening the folding partition easy.
