Fully glazed partition with high sound reduction
DEKO FG Silent is particularly suitable for areas where extra high sound reduction is required.
The fully glazed partition with high sound reduction is a natural extension to our existing range of fully glazed partitions, as today our customers demand consistently higher sound reduction and an exclusive design with glazed elements at full height.
DEKO FG Silent can be constructed as entire glazed partitions with or without doors - or as glazed partitions built into our own system partitions in gypsum DEKO PV and DEKO PF.
Naturally our fully glazed walls can be built together and combined with our other glazed partitions as well making it possible to carry out completely unique interior designs with our various glazed and gypsum partitions.
Structure
The DEKO FG Silent partition can be constructed with several different types of sound rated safety glass which provides up to 50 dB sound reduction.
In order to obtain sound reduction above 42 dB - the fully glazed partition is constructed with special sound rated glazed elements, which are up to 43 mm thick. Sound rated glazed elements are fitted with the well-known slim and stable DEKO FG Silent aluminium profiles against the adjacent partitions, ceilings, and floors.
The vertical joints between the glass can be made with a narrow black joint which matches the black edge of the sound rated glass. The joint may also be covered with a slim aluminium profile.
All visible aluminium profiles are supplied as standard in natural anodised aluminium, but can also be supplied powder coated in other colours as required.
Doors
Depending on the required sound reduction for the partition in the area around the door, it is possible to incorporate DEKO DG glazed doors, DEKO FG fully glazed doors and solid wooden doors.
In order to achieve the best possible sound reduction, we recommend that a DEKO DG glazed door should be fitted. This can be done with an acoustic strip at the bottom of the door, which gives extra sound reduction.
All doors are fitted in our stable DEKO FG Silent aluminium frame.
Decoration
As with our other fixed DEKO glazed partitions and our fully glazed folding partitions and panel walls, DEKO FG Silent glazed partitions and glazed doors can be decorated with applied film and design can take the form stripes or patterns in different colours – to bring the interior design in line with the surrounding decorations.
